My name is Sofia McClintock and I’m a travel writer driven by a deep passion for storytelling through both words and visuals. With a background in video production, film, and editing, I bring a cinematic perspective to my writing, capturing not just places, but the feeling of being there. My work is inspired by a genuine love for experiencing the world, from everyday moments to extraordinary destinations. Through my writing, I aim to share the beauty of our planet in a way that feels immersive, meaningful, and authentic, inviting others to see the world through my lens.

I’m currently a junior studying Media Studies and Production with a minor in Content Creation, where I’ve developed a strong foundation in both storytelling and strategic communication. As a writer, I’m especially interested in themes of culture, visual storytelling, and authentic experiences. I aim to create content that not only informs but also immerses readers, blending my background in video production with my passion for travel to bring destinations to life in a meaningful and engaging way.

Social Media & Correspondence Intern
United State Allstar Federation for Club Cheer and Dance
As an Intern, I planned, created, and scheduled content for their social medias, I watched trends and develop content strategies, and I collaborated with the marketing and design teams on graphic design projects to ensure brand consistency. I also helped out with The 2025 Cheerleading World's Competition on the remote team for covering the event.
Skills & Expertise
I have mastered my knowledge in Microsoft Office 365, Powerpoint, Excel, Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Media Encoder, Audacity, Canvas, Six, CapCut, Youtube, & Pinterest. Through my Video Production class, I have gained knowledge on how Film cameras work, such as shots (3-shot, matched action, cutaway,) focus point, white balance, and Iris, are some examples.
